Denmark’s acting defence minister discussed plans for the possible training of Ukrainian pilots on Thursday, ahead of a conference in Brussels to coordinate military assistance for Kyiv.

According to Troels Lund Poulsen of the Danish news agency Ritzau, the training will take place at Skrydstrup Air Base in Jutland, where the country’s F-16s are stationed.

Since the war began on February 24, last year, Western nations have continued to provide military and financial assistance to Ukraine.

Denmark and the Netherlands are leading Western countries in training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 combat jets.
