    Overnight actions by Russian forces hit 86 Ukrainian military targets, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

    At a daily briefing in Moscow, ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said the targets included two control centers, two ammunition depots, three fuel depots, three multiple rocket launchers, and 49 strong points and sites of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment.

    Eight unmanned aerial vehicles were also shot down by Russian air defense systems, while an S-300 air defense system was damaged by high-precision missiles, he claimed.

    A transcript of Konashenkov’s briefing read, “Last night, high-precision sea-based missiles destroyed the headquarters and base of the Dnepr nationalist brigade in Zvonetskoe, Dnepropetrovsk Region, where foreign mercenaries had lately arrived.”
