Doha Bank donated a QR1 million check to Qatar Charity (QC) in support of the “Pakistan Relief” and “Somalia Hunger Appeal” campaigns, which aim to provide humanitarian aid to the flood victims in Pakistan and the people suffering from drought in Somalia.
According to a QC statement released on Sunday, the donation is a part of Doha Bank’s social responsibility programme and commitment to support charitable endeavours and humanitarian causes all over the world.
Ahmad Ali al-Hanzab, head of Administration and Properties at Doha Bank, presented the check to Ahmmed Omar AlSherawi, director of the Customer Service Department at QC.
AlSherawi praised Doha Bank for its support of QC’s various campaigns and for its dedication to humanitarian and community service endeavours.
Al-Hanzab observed that Doha Bank gives humanitarian causes a lot of attention by providing assistance to underserved communities through QC. He praised QC’s humanitarian efforts and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting similar programmes, initiatives, and projects in the future.
