    During Ramadan, Turkey’s president expressed regret over Israel’s intervention in Palestine.

    Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with Jordan’s King Abdullah on Monday, expressing sadness and concern about Israel’s intervention in Palestine during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

    Erdogan stated on Twitter that the two leaders agreed on bilateral cooperation for efforts to assist bring peace to the region during their phone discussion.

    He went on to say that he hoped Abdullah a speedy recovery from his surgery.
