Due to a blockade by Russian forces, hundreds of thousands of people stranded in the city of Kherson are running low on supplies, which are at dangerously low levels, according to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry.

“Kherson’s 300,000 residents are facing a humanitarian disaster as a result of the Russian army’s blockade. Despite the fact that food and medical supplies are nearly depleted, Russia refuses to provide humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians, according to ministry official Oleg Nikolenko’s social media account.

“Before it’s too late, Russia’s barbaric tactics must be stopped!” he added.

The war between Russia and Ukraine, which began on February 24, has sparked international indignation, with the European Union, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among others, imposing strong financial penalties on Moscow.
