Somali Magazine –A man who earlier this month shot one man dead and another critically wounded has been taken into custody by Somaliland police.
On the 13th of this month, the suspect—whom the police have not yet identified—murdered Abdi Hundule Fidhin and injured Sakariye Mohamud Sheikh Muumin, 27.
On Saturday, a police spokeswoman announced that the man had admitted to the assault and would face charges.
He stated that the man shot Mumin in order to mislead the authorities and make the murder seem terroristic. The man’s actual target was Fidhin, with whom he had a property dispute.
“It was a planned killing. The suspect intended to present the domestic disagreement as a terrorist act.
The defendant allegedly fired on the victims while running, according to the witnesses. He succeeded in escaping the crime scene.
