The Saudi King Salman Humanitarian Assistance and Relief Center announced on Friday that it has dispatched two aircraft to Poland with 168 tons of aid for the people of Ukraine.
Two Saudi aid aircraft left King Khalid International Airport in the nation’s capital, Riyadh, early on Friday morning in order to travel to the Polish Zusov Airport, which is near to the Ukrainian border.
It stated, “The two aircraft transport 168 tons of Saudi help to the Ukrainian people.
The assistance will cross the Polish border into Ukraine and consists of building supplies, power generators, and medical equipment.
A Saudi delegation led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan paid a visit to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, in February. Since the conflict, this was the first formal visit of this kind by a Saudi or Arab official to Ukraine.
