Somali Magazine is pleased to officially announce that nominations for the 7th Edition of the 100 Most Influential Somali People 2025 are now open. This annual recognition highlights outstanding Somali individuals from around the world who have made exceptional contributions across leadership, business, humanitarian work, innovation, education, media, culture, and community development.
Nominations opened on 10th October 2025 and will remain open until 20th December 2025. Anyone from the public can submit a nomination through the official Somali Magazine platforms.
This year’s prestigious recognition event will be hosted in Minnesota, USA, a state known for its vibrant Somali community and cultural excellence. As part of the celebrations, a Gala Dinner will be held on 5th January 2026, bringing together leaders, influencers, partners, and distinguished guests from across the globe.
The event is organized under the leadership of Ridwan Yusuf, CEO of Somali Magazine, who emphasized the importance of recognizing those who inspire progress and positively impact Somali society worldwide. He stated that this edition marks another milestone in honoring the resilience, brilliance, and global influence of Somali achievers.
