The Embassy of Poland in Nairobi informs that Polish borders are closed for illegal migrants with no authorisation to enter, and asylum is temporarily suspended.
In response to the trafficking activities supported by authoritarian regimes in Russia and Belarus, Poland has strengthened border controls and suspended asylum rights. It is necessary to protect the security and integrity of the EU.
The Embassy warns against any disinformation that claims the opposite. Smugglers who promise that Poland can be an easy gateway to the Schengen zone cannot be trusted. They are liars focused on their own profits only.
