Tuesday saw Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan harshly criticising European nations that shield terrorist groups like the PKK and FETO.

Members of terrorist organisations openly establish camps for themselves in some nations as the nests of terror are destroyed.

“Almost every nation in Europe has embraced the murderers who spilled the blood of our citizens, especially in the Lavrion camp in Greece. Erdogan told a gathering in the capital city of Ankara, “They can move around freely by waving their arms.

Erdogan made his comments the day after a PKK terrorist attack in Turkey’s Mersin province resulted in the death of one police officer and the injury of another.

Erdogan warned that terrorists pose a threat to the peace and security of Western nations that support terrorist organisations. He added that he expects all nations, particularly Turkey’s neighbours, to take the necessary countermeasures against terrorist groups.

Erdogan stated once more regarding the military buildups in Greece that Ankara is well aware of the motivations of those who provoked Athens, adding: “The weapons piled up in Western Thrace and on the islands make no sense to us because our power is far beyond them, but we remind you that this means a covert occupation.”

Previously, Turkish military drones captured evidence that Greece had stationed armoured vehicles on the islands of Midilli (Lesvos) and Sisam in violation of international law (Samos).

The Aegean and Mediterranean seas should not be “polluted with human blood, tears, or hostility,” according to Erdogan of Turkey.

We sincerely desire peace and tranquilly, he continued.
