Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned on Sunday that Russia will be “held accountable” for any actions taken against his people.

According to state news agency Ukrinform, Zelenskyy claimed in a video message to the public that Russia shelled some Ukrainian cities this week.

“This week alone, Russian terrorists have attacked Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia, Beryslav in Kherson, Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk, Avdiivka, Kramatorsk, and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk, and Kostiantynivka in Sumy…and dozens and dozens of other Ukrainian towns and villages,” he stated.

He also expressed his sorrow to individuals who had lost family or loved ones.

Zelenskyy went on to say that “the evil state will be held accountable for every act of terror against Ukrainians,” as he reminded the country that Russian President Vladimir Putin is wanted by the International Criminal Court.

“This is a turning point, the time after which it becomes apparent that the end of this assault for Russia will be the full extent of its responsibility. Accountability for every strike on Ukraine, for every life lost, for every Ukrainian child deported…And, of course, for every manifestation of world destabilization generated by Russian aggression,” he continued.
