As part of his first international trip following his reelection on May 28, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan travelled to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) before arriving in Azerbaijan.
Erdogan will be welcomed by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on Tuesday in the nation’s capital Baku.
Erdogan and Aliyev are anticipated to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties and collaboration between Turkey and Azerbaijan as well as share opinions on recent regional and global events.
A joint press conference will also be held by the leaders.
