The strongest friend of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for an intervention in Gaza if Israel’s onslaught on Palestine do not cease within 24 hours.

Turkey should “take action promptly,” said Devlet Bahceli, leader of the Nationalist Movement Party, in a post on X, adding that “protecting and safeguarding Gaza is our ancestors’ legacy.”

According to Bahceli, Turkey should “do whatever is necessary due to its historical, humanitarian, and religious responsibilities.”
