Somali Magazine 8 Aug 2023 -H.E Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale), Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, presided over a meeting of the Relief Coordination Forum in Banadir Region, which was organized by the Department of Relief and Disaster Management of the Benadir Regional Administration, and warned those who take advantage of the poor.
The goal of this conference was to discuss the law with the organisations and individuals who benefit from relief funds meant to help displaced persons and the underprivileged in the Banadir Region’s districts.
Mr. Muhuddin Mohamud Abdullahi (Oogle), Director of the Banadir Region’s Relief and Disaster Management agency, has stated that the agency has established a transparent system that must be applied in order to prevent aid-related fraud.
Banadir’s governor has issued a harsh warning to brokers and individuals who benefit from relief donations meant for vulnerable and displaced people.
