    Biden will receive the Japanese Prime Minister and South Korean President on August 18.

    The White House announced Friday that US President Joe Biden will meet Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in Camp David on August 18.

    At the trilateral meeting, the leaders will ”celebrate a new chapter,” according to White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre.

    According to her, the three presidents will discuss increasing trilateral cooperation across the Indo-Pacific and beyond, including countering North Korea’s ongoing threat as well as global and regional security problems.
