According to Anadolu, Facebook, which was founded on February 4, 2004, by Mark Zuckerberg and three others in a Harvard University dorm room, is the most frequently used social networking site in the world.
The corporation has grown dramatically over the years, adding popular programmes such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
Opting for a change in image and opting to remain as “Meta” in 2021, the corporation continues its efforts in the midst of scandals, data security difficulties, competition violations, and allegations of censorship.
In 2021, the corporation debuted its metaverse vision, mostly in response to the loss of younger consumers.
It claims that at least three billion people use one of its products daily.
The firm owns and manages Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp, among other goods and services.
