President Mohamud emphasized the government’s commitment to finding a peaceful settlement, emphasizing the Federal Government’s willingness to play a constructive role in enabling dialogue and putting a stop to the current carnage.

The traditional elders expressed thanks to the federal government for its stance on Sool and Sanaag’s fate. They discussed their thoughts on the present situation, emphasising the difficulties encountered by the local community as a result of the ongoing fighting.

The team, which included respected elders like as Garad Jama Garad Ismail, Ugas Mohamud Ugas Abdilahi, Garad Abrisaq Garad Soofe, Garad Abdisalan Hassan Mohamed, and Sultan Mustafa Mohamud Awseed, was greeted warmly upon their arrival at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde airport on Sunday.

According to sources, the main purpose of their visit is to debate the allocation and distribution of foreign help to the problematic region. According to reports, the federal government intends to immediately send its portion of aid to the SCC committee present in the SSC (Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn) regions.

In the coming days, traditional elders from the SSC areas will meet with federal government authorities and civil society organisations to discuss effective methods to handle the issue and offer much-needed stability and assistance to the afflicted people.
