International search and rescue teams who arrived at Istanbul Airport from earthquake zones to return home were thanked in 15 different languages on the airport’s huge displays with the words “Thank you for your solidarity.”
After the terrible earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude that rocked 10 provinces and affected millions of lives, search and rescue teams from different parts of the world started to return to their countries after finishing their rescue efforts in the disaster-stricken areas.
Furthermore, the search and rescue teams were accommodated in the Airport Lounge, where they wrote their notes in a diary book in a specific place.
As keepsakes, the teams received evil eye beads and a mug with the words “Thank You” inscribed on it.
