Borussia Dortmund confirmed Thursday that Jadon Sancho, a Manchester United player, has joined the German club on loan.
The English winger, who has returned to the German Bundesliga after a 2.5-year absence, will remain with Dortmund until June 30, 2024.
“When I arrived into the changing room today, it felt like ‘coming home,'” said Sancho. “I know the club completely and out, I’ve always been connected to the fans here, and I’ve never lost contact with those in control. I can’t wait to see my teammates again, get back on the field, play football with a grin on my face, prepare goals, score goals, and help qualify for the Champions League.”
The 23-year-old had joined to the English Premier League club Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund on July 23, 2021, was temporarily excluded from the Manchester United squad in Sept. 2023.
