    Jubaland State head Ahmed Madobe meets with Norway’s Ambassador to Somalia to discuss fostering humanitarian relief aid.

    Somalia’s Jubbaland State President Ahmed Mohamed Islam “Madobe” met with Norway Ambassador to Somalia Gunnar Andreas Holm in Nairobi, Kenya.

    The regional head and the Ambassador discussed a wide variety of subjects, including how to improve bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the Somali people.

    They also discussed methods to increase humanitarian assistance to the Somali population badly affected by El Niño-induced floods in Jubaland State and throughout the country.

    The two parties emphasized the importance of working together to improve the services of the various regional government agencies in order to provide better service to the general public.

    The Minister of Planning, Investment, and International Cooperation, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed, and other senior officials from both sides were present at the meeting.
