Somali Magazine – In an interview with Eritrean TV, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia stated that Eritrea had ‘always supported Somalia’s sovereignty’ and expressed thanks.
He claimed that Eritrea has provided considerable help to Somalia in its war against Al-Shabaab. He also stated that Eritrea has backed Somalia’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, as is its global stance.
President Mohamud stated that President Isaias Afwerki confirmed this with him in Asmara.
