Somali Magazine – H. E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, signed legislation nullifying the MoU agreement between Ethiopia and Somaliland.
The President applauded Somalia’s Parliament for defending its sovereignty. He emphasized that this rule reflects our official position and serves as a significant deterrent to any infringement on Somali land.
“This evening, I signed legislation nullifying the illegal Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of Ethiopia and Somaliland.” “With the support of our legislators and people, this law demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding our unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity in accordance with international law,” President Mohamud stated.
