Russian Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin met with Djibouti Chief of Staff Zakaria Sheikh to explore bilateral military cooperation between the two nations’ defence ministries.
“During the talks, the positive paces of developing bilateral military cooperation were noted, and promising directions for cooperation were identified,” said the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Furthermore, Fomin emphasized the importance of growing Russian-Djiboutian ties, as well as the Russian Ministry of Defense’s willingness to maintain constructive dialogue.
