    Somali Children’s Rights Bill is approved in the weekly Cabinet meeting.

    The weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers, presided over by H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, passed the law on the rights of Somali children.

    This measure, proposed by the Ministry of Women and Human Rights, protects Somali children’s rights and eliminates all violations of their rights.

    The council heard a report on general security in the nation and the second phase of the campaign to remove the Al-Shabaab terrorist organisation from the Ministries of Internal Security and Defence.

    The council applauded the launch of the operation’s second phase, which is intended to free terrorist hideouts in the Galmudug and Hirshabelle regions.

    Furthermore, the Security Evaluation Committee of Government Facilities, the Internal Revenue Acceleration Plan, and the National Monitoring & Evaluation Process of the 9th National Development Plan and Environmental Protection were presented to the Council by the Ministries of Finance, Planning, Internal Security, and Environment and Climate Change.
