A father was caught by the Somali Police Force after he was accused of murdering his 6-year-old daughter.
Abukar Hussein Culusow was apprehended by authorities in Mogadishu’s Hiliwa area on Tuesday, nearly two weeks after escaping from Dharkenley district and killing his daughter on January 14, 2023.
According to reports, Abukar Hussein killed his daughter out of jealously for his wife, whom he had harmed.
The Somali Police Force has recently escalated its operations in Mogadishu’s districts in search of criminal organizations that perpetrate murder and robbery.
