Somali refugees who fled their own country’s violence and found asylum in Yemen are battling to survive under harsh conditions.

In Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate, these refugees lack access to clean water, bathrooms, and adequate shelter at the Al-Ajlaniya Refugee Camp.

For years, Somalia has been plagued by insecurity, with al-Shabaab attacking the government and the African Union mission there since 2007.

The terrorist groups al-Shabaab and Daesh/ISIS continue to endanger Somalis’ lives.
