The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has issued a statement assuring the public and airlines using Somalia’s airspace that it has complete control over flight safety and security.
According to the SCAA, Somalia’s airspace poses no security or safety danger and adheres to international aviation rules and regulations. The SCAA further stated that it is collaborating closely with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and other regional and international partners to ensure the seamless operation of airspace.
