Cairo, Somali Magazine. Somalia’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ali Abdi Awaare, welcomed the Egyptian Presidency’s Secretary, Mohamed Yahya, to his office today.
During the visit, Ambassador Awaare received a celebratory letter from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, addressed to Somalia’s government and people on July 1st.
In turn, Ambassador Awaare passed over a message from President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud to Secretary Yahya, thanking the Egyptian government and people on the 11th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.
Ambassador Awaare praised the longtime collaboration and fraternity between the Egyptian and Somali administrations, confirming the two countries’ strong bilateral connections and mutual respect.
