Somali Magazine – Ali Omar, Somalia’s State Minister and Acting Foreign Minister, attended a meeting on Wednesday to examine the country’s security condition and anti-terrorism operations. Delegates from the African Union Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) and the African Union also attended the meeting.
The gathering was to assess progress made in the fight against the terrorist group Al-Shabaab. The summit also addressed the difficulties and prospects for improving Somalia’s security and stability, as well as the role of regional and international partners in assisting the Somali government.
