Somali Magazine – On Wednesday, the self-proclaimed country of Somaliland hanged five men for murder in Hargeisa.
The execution took place in the Mandhera prison, which is notorious for its firing squads.
The executions of these men, whose names have yet to be revealed by the government, were just approved by President Muse Bihi Abdi.
Somaliland’s usually carries out executions quietly. The authorities have yet to issue a statement regarding this morning’s executions.
