According to SANA, quoting a military source, Israeli jets launched an air raid from the Golan Heights, targeting sites near Damascus.
According to the state-run media, Syrian air defenses intercepted Israeli missiles and shot down several of them.
The attack caused property damage, according to reports.
Since the start of the civil war in Syria in 2011, Israel has carried out sporadic attacks on Iranian-backed militias and army sites.
