Somali Magazine – Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyidin Addow, Chief of Defense Forces, paid a visit to the TURKISOM Military Academy in Mogadishu today to inspect officers from the National Armed Forces undertaking advanced training in various military and defense disciplines.
During the visit, Major General Ibrahim met with Turkish authorities and expressed appreciation for Turkey’s unwavering support for the Somali Army. He highlighted Turkey’s important contribution in training and developing Somali government troops, notably in the ongoing effort to eliminate terrorist groups.
The commander spoke with senior officers from the Turkisom Command, expressing gratitude for their ongoing support for Somali forces. The relationship between Turkey and Somalia has played a critical role in developing the Somali Army.
