General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhidin, Commander of the Somali National Army, and officials arrived at the Aden Yabal district of the lower Shabelle region.
The Commander was joined by the Director General of the counterterrorism agency, Abdullahi Mohamed Nur, and was greeted by members of both Houses of the Somali Parliament.
General Muhidin went to the frontlines to examine the soldiers stationed there and encourage them to keep fighting to liberate the country from terrorist terrorists and restore Somalia’s honor.
The Somali National Army is nearing the end of the first phase of the struggle against Al-Shabaab terrorists and will begin the second phase as soon as they sweep the regions that the enemy still holds in Hishabelle and Galmudug States.
