Somali Magazine September 06 2023-HE Salah Ahmed Jama, Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, delivered a speech during the Africa Climate Summit, which was held in Kenya.
Climate change, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, recognises no borders and must be addressed collectively.
“We need to see an acceleration of critical climate adaptation finance to fund both public and private investments that can mitigate the damaging effects of climate on the most vulnerable,” he added.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah urged for increased funding to help climate adaption in vulnerable nations at the Africa Climate Summit. He applauds the government’s strong efforts to combat climate change.
