    The head coach of Turkey’s national football team works as a cashier for earthquake victims.

    Stefan Kuntz, head coach of the Türkiye National Football Team, volunteered as a cashier for earthquake victims in Türkiye on Saturday.

    Kuntz worked in a store in Saarland, Germany, where the cash registers remained open for an hour while he collected money for the victims.

    All revenues will be donated to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, according to the announcement (AFAD).

    Two massive earthquakes that rattled southern Turkey on Monday killed at least 24,600 people and injured more than 80,000, according to AFAD.

    More than 13 million people were affected by the 7.7- and 7.6-magnitude earthquakes that struck Kahramanmaras province, including Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, and Sanliurfa.
