The capital Ankara will be the second stop on the festival, which will be held in the three main cities of Türkiye to commemorate the republic’s centenary.

According to a report from Sabah newspaper on Monday, the event will be held in Ankara from August 30 to September 3, and then in Izmir from September 27 to October 1.

Technology contests were held in 41 major events and 102 different categories as part of the festival to support the initiatives of thousands of young people working in the sectors of national technology production and development.

This year, over 333,000 teams and over 1 million contestants applied to Teknofest’s Technology Competitions.

Prizes totaling more than TL 13 million ($478,564) and material assistance totaling more than TL 30 million were given to young people. The young people who placed in the events were honored on the Teknofest stage.
