Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health (SCH), met with Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasaan, Bahrain’s Minister of Health, and Dr. Ali Haji Adam Abubakar, Somalia’s Minister of Health.
The discussion took place on the sidelines of the 15th Arab-German Health Forum, which was held alongside the Manama Health Congress and Expo 2023.
The SCH Chairman praised Bahraini-Somali relations, highlighting the level of collaboration and coordination that exists between the two countries.
He also discussed measures to strengthen the continuing mutual relationship in the sphere of health.
The Somali minister commended bilateral relations, praising the kingdom’s rapid improvement in all categories, particularly health.
He expressed gratitude and admiration to Bahrain for its initiatives to assist his country, reinforcing the two countries’ distinguished relations.
