The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, who was present at the opening ceremony for the announcement of the national examinations, stated that the second phase of the struggle against the Al-Shabaab militants would begin shortly and that preparations are being made.

Because the administration had been preparing for a long, the Prime Minister stated that the second phase would be finished in a shorter amount of time.

“At least ten thousand soldiers have been prepared, equipped, and are ready to go to war,” Prime Minister Barre said.

“The Khawarij who remain in the Galmudug and Hirshabelle regions will be eliminated so that the second phase in the Southwest and Jubbaland can begin,” he continued.

Prime Minister Hamza urged all Somalis to support the government and not remain neutral since the militants will be exterminated from the entire nation.

The Prime Minister urged every Somali citizen to join the fight with their power, riches, or tongues in order to free the country and restore our nation’s safety.

The President presided over yesterday’s National Security Council meeting, which focused on the conclusion of the first phase and preparations for the second phase.
