    Three people have been injured as a result of earthquakes in southwestern China.

    A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck Southwestern China on Wednesday, only hours after another tremor in the region injured three people, according to local media.

    The earlier 5.2 magnitude tremor rattled Baoshan city in Yunnan province on Tuesday night, causing three minor injuries, according to the English-language daily Global Times.

    The second earthquake struck Xingwen county in neighboring Sichuan province, with no injuries so far, according to official television CGTN, quoting the China Earthquake Networks Center.​​​​​​​
