Somali Magazine September,132023-The UK government has announced that applications for Chevening Scholarships to study in the UK will be accepted between September 12 and November 7. The scholarships are designed to nurture future leaders and influencers from all over the world, and they provide complete financial support for one year of master’s study at any UK university.
”The Scholarship underscores the UK’s commitment to investing in the leaders of the future,” said Mike Nithavrianakis, British Ambassador to Somalia. This is a fantastic opportunity, and I want as many Somalis as possible to apply for this life-changing experience.”
He went on to say that over 60 Somali scholars have benefited from the Chevening Scholarship programme since 2016, with many of them now working at senior levels in government, the commercial sector, and international organizations.
