    Ukraine will get a new $2.2 billion military aid package from the US.

    According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Kyiv will get a new $2.2 billion package of military aid from the US and anticipates that the US Congress will approve a second package totaling about $45 billion.

    Shmyhal remarked on Telegram that the Patriot air defense systems and the new HIMARS systems are both included in the package.

    He noted that the $45 billion plan was included in the US federal budget for 2023 and will consist of military, economic, and humanitarian aid.

    According to Shmyhal, Ukraine has received over 200 shipments of energy-related goods, and the EU has committed to delivering 900 generators.

    According to him, firms and individuals imported 500,000 generators to Ukraine in 2022, and “partners” supply Ukraine sizable generator sets that can power significant objects.

    Han Duck-soo, the prime minister of South Korea, was congratulated by Shmyhal for “the persistent support of Ukraine, giving humanitarian and military help,” according to Shmyhal.

    He added that the involvement of Korean businesses in the post-conflict reconstruction of Ukraine was discussed and said, “We look forward to boosting the amount of help from South Korea in terms of equipment for restoring energy infrastructure.”
